In order to make Milwaukee a more sustainable community, our goal is to build market share for locally-owned, independent businesses by increasing awareness about the personal and community benefits of choosing local. Remember, for every $1 you spend at a locally owned business, more than 68¢, versus 43¢ spent at a national chain, remains in Milwaukee. Featured MemberConscious Bath Company The Conscious Bath Company produces handcrafted soap incorporating certified organically grown base oils, butters and herbs. We choose to scent each soap with pure, plant-based essential oils, in lieu of synthetic fragrances. Essential oils are derived from plants, flowers, herbs and tree barks...nature's original medicinals. We use several different recipes for our soaps to offer something for everybody--moisturizing olive, coconut and jojoba oils, nutritious oils like wheat germ, castor and aloe, healing butters like shea, mango and cocoa in addition to antiseptic & anti-inflammatory ingredients like calendula, oats and honey.
